Although the world of medicine is often presented as a crucial part of medical procedures’ success, communication skills have yet to become everyday educational routines. We can see this, especially in the work with cancer patients. Clinical observations and quantitative and qualitative research have long supported a link between breast or any other carcinoma and medical procedures and therapy paths. However, less is known about the emotional status, dilemmas, questions, and anger that named patients have and pass through curing and healing.
This two-day online course, led by Dr. Olivera M. Cirkovic, MD, M. Psych. (Gestalt), is a comprehensive guide to working with cancer patients. Dr. Cirkovic will share case studies from her clinical practice and introduce various tools for working with patients in different stages of illness. The course covers all important details from her book, ‘Seeking for cure I find myself’, ensuring that you receive a thorough understanding of the subject.
